Heavy metals and other environmental toxins can, in some cases, contribute to symptoms that overlap with psychiatric conditions. When clinically appropriate, additional testing may be recommended to evaluate whether these factors could be contributing to your symptoms, as part of a comprehensive approach that looks beyond diagnosis alone.
